Architexca founded
April 8, 2016

The Netherlands’ Friends of Architecture originally affiliated with the former NAi, presently The New Institute (HNI), has been able to retain her original mission within the context of the Architexca Foundation. Architexca maintains close ties with the HNI.

Architexca is a club of Friends of Architecture, a nonprofessional organization sharing diverse backgrounds (not exclusively architects), united in a shared appreciation of architecture and urban design, in their broadest sense.

OBJECTIVE AND ACTIVITIES

Our objective is to promote the understanding of architectural heritage, town planning and Landscape design in their broadest sense, from a cultural, socio-economic and historic vantage point. We organize ca 5 excursions per year in The Netherlands and abroad, including relevant lectures. The excursions vary from daytrips to extended travel.
